ERGO Singapore Selects eBaoTech’s Insurance Platform
Shanghai-based digital insurance solutions provider eBaoTech has announced that ERGO Singapore deployed its microservices and cloud-native based 4G insurance platform and will use it as its policy administration system for individual and commercial motor.
ERGO Group, the primary insurance arm of Munich Re, entered the Singapore market in 2014, and was looking in 2015 for a new end-to-end insurance core system to improve its operational efficiency and to support its digital and customer centric strategies. Since the new platform is based on a microservices and cloud-native architecture – it enables for a faster product launch and channel integration.
“We need to conduct our business much faster as today’s customer expects a quick response and immediate product delivery in the form of a policy, and of course a very speedy claims payment.” – ERGO Singapore CEO Karl-Heinz Jung.
“We are very proud to have ERGO Singapore as one of our first clients adopting eBaoTech’s 4G insurance platform in SEA region. Our 4G insurance platform is designed for open API collaborations in digital age and API economy. It now becomes a proven solution and has been successfully implemented by many insurers across Asia and Middle East regions. We look forward to working with ERGO Singapore to make its products and services more accessible and friendly to the customers.” – eBaoTech CEO Dr. Woody Mo.
