Empathy launches enterprise platform for insurers and advisors
Empathy introduced Empathy Connect, an enterprise portal to help insurance carriers, financial institutions, and advisors support clients before, during, and after major life events. The platform combines legacy planning, bereavement support, and engagement tools into a single experience for professionals and consumers.
The new offering connects several of Empathy’s existing products, including Empathy Loss Support, LifeVault, and Leave Support, allowing advisors, agents, and claims specialists to identify planning gaps and engage clients beyond traditional policy or claims interactions.
According to the company, Empathy Connect is aimed at improving client retention and generational relationships as wealth transfer and estate planning needs grow more complex. Empathy cited internal research showing that 56% of advisors face challenges related to incomplete estate plans, avoidance of planning discussions, and family dynamics.
Empathy, which partners with multiple US life insurers, said the expansion reflects demand for solutions that extend beyond point-in-time claims support.
The company has raised $162 million to date from investors including Index Ventures, General Catalyst, and Adams Street Partners.
