Embrace reaches 500k insured pets

Pet insurance provider Embrace Pet Insurance announced that it is now insuring 500,000 pets across the country.

The company sold its first policy on October 10, 2006.

Embrace handled over 4.6 million claims to date, including more than 1 million in 2023 alone.

Late last year, NSM Insurance Group announced a deal to sell Embrace to JAB Holding Company for $1.5 billion, according to a Coverager source.
