Hello, I am Julieta Bot, tell me, how can I help you?

October 2nd, 2018 – Eduardo Iglesias, CEO and Co-Founder of eColón, will speak at Insurtech Connect 2018 to introduce the new voice based virtual assistant. It is the first one in all the Spanish speaking countries.

Julieta Bot is the first voice virtual assistant that can talk and guide the user through the process of purchasing and payment of a policy or just to obtain specific information.

This way, eColón deepens its omnichannel concept, allowing customers to access through multiple platforms, Facebook Messenger, Web Chat, Google Assistant and Google Home. They can communicate by text through e.g. Facebook Messenger, to issue a policy by using geolocalization and Optical Character Recognition from their mobile, in less than 60 seconds.

If customers prefer to go verbal, they can contact Julieta Bot from a mobile phone and access eColón‘s webchat, issuing a policy by talking to Julieta Bot or requesting customer service also by the use of voice.

To make the process even easier, for the first time, we added the chance to access a virtual assistant through Google Assistant or Google Home for voiced queries. All these platforms share the motor for Artificial Intelligence with Machine Learning and Natural Language (NLP) from Google’s DialogFlow.

Victor Valle- Director of Google Marketing Solutions for Hispanic American Countries commented that “Google Assistant holds all technology and intelligence which we have been working for 20 years, from searching to language processing, in order to allow people to interact with brands and companies naturally, and to help them fulfil their daily routines in a quick and simple way”.

Eduardo Iglesias added, “Working with Google and its subsidiaries has been a very significant boost to eColón‘s technological capabilities and allowed us to develop Juliet Bot as one of the most advanced virtual assistants inthe insurance industry”.

After receiving the Five Stars Award for Open Innovation, granted by Celent, eColón makes this great announcement that sets the company as the leading technological innovator in the region.
