Ebix introduces AI-powered COI compliance platform

Ebix  has launched a new version of its certificate of insurance (COI) management platform, adding AI-driven validation and workflow capabilities aimed at closing compliance gaps.

The product, called Ebix COI, moves beyond data extraction by linking certificate data to underlying contracts, validating coverage against actual requirements, and driving resolution of deficiencies.

Key additions include Policy & Contract Intelligence, which reads vendor agreements and checks certificates against contract terms, and an AI Assist Agent that identifies deficiencies and initiates follow-up with vendors. The platform also introduces self-service workflows for in-house compliance teams.
