Dr. Claudia Max leaves Zurich Group Germany
Dr. Claudia Max. Chief Underwriting Officer of Zurich Group Germany , is leaving the company on December 31, 2024 to “take on a new professional challenge abroad.” According to the press release, Claudia Max has been a member of the Board of Management of Zurich Group Germany since May 1, 2022. Her successor has yet to be announced.
Dr. Claudia Max studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, China. She obtained a master’s degree in law and accounting from the London School of Economics and Political Science and completed her doctorate part-time at the Technical University of Darmstadt. After completing her studies, she was most recently an associate partner at McKinsey & Company from 2010 to 2019. In August 2019, Dr. Claudia Max joined Zurich Group Germany as Head of Sales Control. In May 2022, she took over underwriting responsibility for the P&C business on the Board of Management of Zurich Group Germany.
