Distribution platform Insurama raises $6 million

Madrid-based Insurama closed a $6 million seed round.

Founded in 2018, the team of 25 offers a hub of digital products aimed at distributing insurance digitally.

Lines of activity include:

  • TuBroker – Insurama offers products direct to the end customer through its own digital sales channels, managing its own online marketing strategy, and developing its own websites. In parallel, its network partners and distributors deliver these products to end-users through their online or offline channels (B2B2C).
  • Muvin – It allows any player in the insurance sector to digitally market their insurance solutions in the same way that Insurama does through its TuBroker service. This modular, flexible and scalable platform covers the entire insurance life cycle with a reduced time-to-market:
    • Digital Marketing Services: specialized Marketing team focused on the insurance sector.
    • Digital Assets: Front-End environment deployment platform is agile and aimed at maximizing sales.
    • 100% digitized end-to-end customer journey as platform automatically manages the entire life cycle of the insurance step by step, from the quotation and contracting, to the opening and monitoring of the claim.
    • Claims Management Service: a system for claims processing.

Insurama is part of Nervo Group, formerly Sum Group, an innovation hub with a focus on the insurance sector which in the past invested in Clicksurance, a Madrid-based developer of niche insurance products. “NERVO has helped in these two years of the company’s launch to accelerate and provide funding for this testing and innovation laboratory in the digital insurance sector.”
