Digitail plans a partnership with Trupanion

Digitail , the veterinary practice-management platform with built-in AI tools, has raised a $23 million Series B led by Five Elms Capital, bringing total funding to more than $37 million. The company says the new capital will speed up product development as it pushes deeper into automation for veterinary teams and expands globally.

Digitail supports 10,000 veterinarians and 3 million pet parents with scheduling, medical records, invoicing, wellness plans, inventory, and a pet-parent app—all under one login. Its 15-plus AI workflows handle intake, SOAP note dictation, record summarization, and other routine administrative tasks.

The company is also preparing to launch a new partnership with Trupanion, judging by its website.

Five Elms Capital, which specializes in scaling SaaS companies, says it invested because veterinary teams are still limited by fragmented, outdated systems—an opening Digitail intends to own with an AI-native operating layer for the entire clinic.
