Diesta raises €1.8 million

London-based insurance startup Diesta has raised €1.8 million from Antler, SixThirty, SystemaNova, and Westerly Ventures.

Founded in 2022, Diesta has developed a software for insurance premium processing. It uses automation to manage admin expenses, speed up payment processing, and provide users with data on their payments and business.

The funds will go towards increasing scalability and advancing product development.

“With Diesta, we are addressing a problem which I experienced first hand and thousands of insurance entities continue to face on a daily basis. This is an example of a legacy industry practice that is costing insurance companies millions every year. Our platform provides a solution which directly addresses this challenge, while setting the foundation for a transformative shift in insurance industries in Europe and around the world.” – Julian Schoemig, co-founder of Diesta.
