Danny Anderson transitions to new role at IOA
Insurance Office of America announced that Florida Division President Danny Anderson will be transitioning into the new role of executive vice president, where he will focus on client and carrier relationships, recruiting, and mentoring along with special projects.
After a successful career as co-founder of CRIMS Inc., Danny joined IOA as a vice president in 2000 and has since held roles of increasing responsibility and leadership. In 2007, he was named to the IOA Board of Directors and was promoted to Florida regional president in 2014. He has served as the Florida division president since 2022.
“Danny has been an important industry colleague and partner, and he has helped me tremendously in my growth in the organization. He has faithfully and successfully served IOA in several key roles, his latest as division president, providing leadership for not only the Florida division but also the entirety of the organization. We are grateful for the time and effort Danny has given and will continue to contribute to further the growth and impact of IOA,” said IOA President Rob Motley.
Since its founding in 1988, IOA has been one of the fastest-growing privately held independent insurance brokerages in the United States. Starting in the central Florida marketplace, IOA has expanded not only nationwide but globally as well, with valued teams across the U.S. and United Kingdom.
Due to its exponential growth, the IOA Board of Directors has made the decision to create two new divisions, North Florida and South Florida, allowing more focused attention on valued clients, carrier and vendor partners, and team members. To head up these two new divisions, IOA has promoted Florida Regional Presidents Mike Hasner and Nate Brainard. Mike will take on the role of division president for South Florida, and Nate will take on the role of division president for North Florida.
Mike has been the South Florida regional president since 2022. He joined IOA as a vice president in 2005 after having co-founded a managing general agency and claims administration company. Nate joined IOA in 2005 and established the company’s environmental division. He was named central Florida regional president in 2022. The expertise of both Mike and Nate has been instrumental in the overall strategy and upward trajectory of the Florida division.
