Living Security, the Austin, TX-based cyber security training company, has raised $1.25m in a Seed round led by Active Capital, with participation from Cathexis Ventures and Capital Factory, bringing the company’s total funding to date to $1.75m.

Founded in 2017, and led by Ashley Rose,  Living Security works with companies to reduce cyber risk through human-focused training for their employees. The company’s science-based approach drives user engagement and reinforces positive security behaviors, integrates threat intelligence to train on the most relevant user-facing threats, and delivers metrics that enable companies to measure the effectiveness of the program. One of the products Living Security offers is the Cyber Escape Platform – a digital security awareness training platform that leverages gamified learning to make cyber security training fun and effective.
