Create Insurance to stop offering insurance online

Create Insurance is informing potential customers via its website that they will no longer be able to purchase coverage starting next year.

The message posted:

“With effect form 01/01/2023 you will no longer be able to arrange cover online with Create as the product will no longer be available. If a quotation is required beyond 01/01/2023 please click here and contact the team. Short term cover policies will no longer be available and minimum premiums for annual policies start from £250 inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax and our Fee.”

UK-based BHIB Insurance Brokers launched the commercial insurance brand in late 2019 to create a “specialist brand dedicated to supporting Freelancers in the creative industry (photographers, makeup artists, copywriters, DJs, actors and many more) with their insurance needs.”

Customers were able to buy annual coverage or short term insurance – for 180 days or less – underwritten by Hiscox.

It isn’t clear what’s to become of Create Insurance.
