Covera’s New Look Post $1M Seed Round
Montreal-based insurance renewals service Covera has a reason to celebrate . The one-year-old startup announced it has raised $1 million in a Seed round led by Ferst Capital Partners, bringing its total funding to date to $1.5M. Also, according to Techvibes, it expects subsequent closings to add an additional $500,000 by November.
This is Covera pre-seed.
And post-seed.
Founded by Scott Loong and Paul O’Reilly, the company offers to take insurance renewals off one’s to-do list, forever. “No one should be allowing their insurance to automatically renew – there are almost always benefits to shopping around. Covera provides everyday Canadians with a non-conflicted and technology-first approach to improving their mobility in the market” – CEO Scott Loong.
Bottom Line: available in Quebec.
