Compre names Rachel Bardon as CUO

Compre Group , the Bermuda-based specialty reinsurance group, has appointed Rachel Bardon as its first chief underwriting officer, effective September 1. Bardon will also join the executive committee and the board of Compre’s Bermuda reinsurer, Pallas Re, pending regulatory approval.

Bardon will lead business development, underwriting, and transaction execution across the group. She joins from Hudson Structured Capital Management, where she was partner and chief investment officer of insurance credit. A qualified actuary with 25 years of industry experience, Bardon brings a background in underwriting, investment, capital modelling, and risk management.

The appointment supports Compre’s growth strategy in North America.
