Command Investigations acquires CoventBridge’s insurance division

Command Investigations has acquired the insurance division of CoventBridge , creating what the companies describe as the largest insurance investigations firm in the US.

CoventBridge’s insurance division, established in 2016, serves more than 200 property & casualty insurers, third-party administrators, and self-insured organizations. The business brings proprietary case management technology, a national investigations operation, and an international investigator network spanning the UK and select global markets.

Command, headquartered in Lake Mary, Florida, provides surveillance, remote surveillance, desktop intelligence, SIU and compliance, and field investigation services through a network of more than 900 investigators across all 50 states.

Following the transaction, CoventBridge CEO Doug Merriman will continue leading the remaining business, which will operate as CoventBridge Integrity Systems, focusing on investigative integrity technology and services for government and healthcare organizations, including health insurers. Command CEO Seth Markham will lead the acquired insurance investigations business, which will initially operate under the CoventBridge Insurance Investigations brand before transitioning fully to the Command name.
