Combined Insurance expands benefits offering with pet insurance

Combined Insurance, a Chubb company, announced the addition of pet insurance from Chubb subsidiary Healthy Paws to its portfolio of supplemental insurance coverage for employers and individuals.

Combined will offer pet insurance through its Combined U.S. and Chubb Workplace Benefits (CWB) operating brands. Combined U.S. provides benefits to employees at the worksite and to individuals through insurance agents and brokers, and CWB caters to mid- and large-market employers through brokers and benefits consultants.

Healthy Paws offers coverage for dogs and cats that includes accidents, illnesses and emergency care. Plans feature flexible reimbursement levels and deductible options. Customers can enroll through the Healthy Paws site or mobile app. Enrollment is available at any time and coverage begins the next day.

“By adding pet insurance through Healthy Paws, we’re offering employers and individuals access to meaningful, modern benefits to help reduce the financial impact of caring for families’ pets. Expanding our voluntary benefits suite gives our clients a valuable edge in today’s competitive talent market backed by our global strength and reputation.” – Rich Williams, President of Combined.

“Expanding access to pet insurance through Combined U.S. and Chubb Workplace Benefits is a natural fit, especially as more people seek valuable solutions that support their personal lives. Our collaboration allows more pet parents to find flexible, reliable coverage that supports their pets’ health and their peace of mind.” – Alex Faynberg, Executive Vice President, Head of Healthy Paws.
