Coinbase launches Coinbase for Agents

Crypto exchange Coinbase is introducing Coinbase for Agents, a new feature that allows users to connect their favorite AI agents directly to their Coinbase accounts to trade, pay, and operate within limits they control.

Agents will be able to help users rebalance their portfolio, monitor cash position and execute preset moves, and leverage premium data – agents can pay for data and services for data-informed trades.

The agent can operate inside its own isolated portfolio, with no external visibility or access into the user’s other holdings, or it can use the main Coinbase account.
