CNA Insurance Joins IVANS Distribution Platform

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. – April 5, 2022 – IVANS today announced that CNA Insurance has joined the IVANS Distribution Platform, an innovative platform standardizing digital connections to agency-facing systems. CNA will support distribution of the Business Owners’ Policy (BOP) and Workers’ Compensation policy via the platform, enabling the IVANS network of independent agents to quote and submit risks from IVANS Distribution Platform.

“Digital distribution is today’s path towards creating more productive and profitable relationships between carriers and agents,” said Steve Marohn, SVP of Small Business, CNA Insurance. “Connecting to the IVANS Distribution Platform will create data and workflow standardization that helps process risks, while making it easier and more efficient for agents to write new and remarket business with CNA.”

IVANS Distribution Platform improves the entire commercial lines policy lifecycle. Unlike point solutions available in the market, the IVANS solution supports both straight through processing as well as more complex risks that require an underwriter’s attention. By identifying market appetite as part of the process, the platform increases efficiencies and submission volume and can lower declination rates.

“Agents and carriers alike are looking to reduce time and expenses related to traditional commercial lines processes,” said Reid Holzworth, chief executive officer, IVANS. “We are excited to welcome CNA Insurance to the IVANS Distribution Platform. As one of the largest carriers in the US, this is a true advancement for agents looking for an automated way to submit commercial lines business.”
