Climate X integrates Fathom’s flood data

Climate X  has integrated Fathom’s Global Flood Model into its climate analytics platforms, Spectra and Adapt, creating what both companies describe as the most comprehensive global climate model stack on the market. The integration combines flood, wind, fire, and earth perils with adaptation intelligence to deliver a unified view of physical climate risk for financial and real estate sectors.

The collaboration arrives amid mounting global flood losses — topping $100 billion annually in four of the past five years — highlighting the need for predictive, data-driven insights. By embedding Fathom’s flood simulations into Climate X’s systems, users can now assess portfolio-level and location-specific losses under a range of future climate scenarios, supporting regulatory alignment and resilience planning.

“Fathom is thrilled about this collaboration, which showcases the value of cross-industry partnerships in advancing climate risk understanding. By combining Fathom’s independently validated flood data with Climate X’s cutting-edge climate risk analytics, we’re equipping the industry to access more precise, science-based insights that will help asset owners adapt and invest with confidence.” – Karena Vaughan, Chief Sales Officer and Head of ESG & Climate Risk at Fathom .

Climate X’s platform currently models 12 climate hazards — including extreme heat, cyclones, and wildfires — translating physical risks into operational, capital, and revenue metrics. The integration of Fathom’s flood models will be available to clients starting in early 2026.
