Clark is exiting Austria
German digital insurance broker CLARK has decided to discontinue its product and service in Austria at the end of the year. This decision is the result of a “strategic focus on profitable growth markets in Europe.”
Philip Steiner, the previous managing director of Clark Austria, will assume responsibility for the more than 30k customers in Austria as part of a management buyout. Steiner and his team will serve customers via franz-finds.at in the future.
Clark entered the Austrian market in 2020, marking its first international expansion. The company operates in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France and the UK.
