Claim Central: App-Less and Crossing Borders

Aussie claims services specialist, Claim Central, is announcing LiveLogik Concierge Web, a video collaboration tool that runs entirely through one’s web browser; meaning no app downloads, logins or passwords.

The Idea – to allow mobile users an easy access to a host of tools for documenting their claims from the web browser on their phone or tablet. Users can stream live video, take pictures, view custom onscreen instructions, and upload files from their device directly to the claim file on the portal.

Sounds Familiar? It should.

Claim Central is a shareholder in  Livegenic , which (back in May) announced more features to its Livegenic WebRTC product to allow users to record, collaborate and upload…. just not download. “When the policyholder taps the link in the invitation message, they’re brought directly to the main screen of the Customer Portal. From here, they can start a live video stream, capture pictures offline with onscreen instructions, upload files to their claim file, or view their adjuster’s contact information.”

Bottom Line: the two companies are working closely to co-develop claim automation tools that are now deployed in the US, South Africa, Italy, New Zealand, and Australia.
