Chubb appoints Xavier Pazmino to Head of Marine, Overseas General Insurance

Chubb announced that Xavier Pazmino has been appointed Executive Vice President, Head of Marine, for Chubb Overseas General Insurance (COG), the company’s international general insurance operations, effective February 2026.

In his new role, Xavier will oversee the growth and profitability of Chubb’s Marine portfolio internationally, including wholesale and retail operations. He succeeds Andrew Williamson who will retire next year.

Xavier brings nearly three decades of insurance industry experience to the role, most recently serving as Chubb’s Country President for Panama and Central America. Previously, Xavier served as Head of Marine for Latin America for 15 years, where he oversaw growth and profitability for the region. Xavier was one of the founders of the Latin American Association of Marine Underwriters and served as President of the Board from 2018 to 2023.
