Chloris Geospatial raises $8.5 million
Chloris Geospatial , a climate-tech company specializing in satellite-based forest carbon measurement, has raised $8.5 million in Series A funding led by Future Energy Ventures. Backed by investors including AXA IM Alts and Cisco Foundation, Chloris will use the funding to accelerate product development, expand its team, and deepen its role in corporate carbon accounting and nature-based climate solutions.
Its technology combines satellite data, AI, and sensor fusion to deliver science-based insights on forest biomass, with coverage dating back to 2000. The company is also opening a European hub to support regional growth.
