Chiron Health Goes The Extra Mile
Austin-based Chiron Health, a telemedicine platform that allows physicians to connect with patients for routine appointments over video, announced it has raised $4.7 million in a seed round bringing its total funding to date to $7.09 million. Ge this: the three-year-old startup guarantees physicians are reimbursed for treatment by insurers in the case that its software showed signs of eligibility stating that ‘more insurers are reimbursing for telemedicine’. Cigna comes to mind.
