Certainly is no longer accepting new small business clients

Certainly , the brand launched by Liberty Mutual in 2019, is no longer signing up new clients for renters, small business and workers’ compensation insurance.

The change does not impact existing clients.

As background, in 2020, Certainly expanded its offerings to include small business insurance in seven states (AZ, CO, IL, MN, NM, TN, WI), following its initial focus on car and renters insurance. “Our coverage is currently designed for businesses with up to 10 employees. According to its website, Certainly continues to offer car insurance in five states: AZ, IL, OH, TN, and WI.
