CBC Underwriters files ABCover school insurance trademark

CBC Underwriters has filed a trademark application for ABCover, an insurance brand focused on school districts.

ABCover’s website lists two products: staff absence coverage, which reimburses districts when employees are absent, and student accident coverage. The company says its coverage is backed by the global insurance market, including underwriters at Lloyd’s of London.

The trademark application, filed September 17, covers insurance agency services, property and casualty underwriting, and insurance consulting. The application is new and has not yet been examined.
