Catholic prayer app Hallow raises $50 million

Hallow , a Chicago-based catholic prayer and meditation app, closed a $50 million Series C funding round led by Goodwater Capital, bringing its total funding to $105 million.

Founded in 2018 and a team of around 70 people, Hallow offers what is considered the largest prayer app, surpassing 10 million downloads and 225 million prayers globally.

Hallow has also recently partnered with several celebrities and faith leaders including the actor Jonathan Roumie, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Bishop Robert Barron, Sister Miriam James-Heidland, Mario Lopez, and Mark Wahlberg.
