Car-sharing service Zerology to use Trov’s platform

Trov announced that Mobility Transformation, Inc., the parent company to Zerology, has selected its Mobility Insurance Platform to power its carshare fleet of Tesla Model 3’s in Madison, WI. With Trov’s technology integration, Zerology’s fleet will be the very first to leverage individual Tesla vehicle data to inform an on-demand commercial insurance product and establish a known risk profile to enable better risk mitigation and elimination.

Established in 2019 and led by Shree Kalluri, Zerology is a Madison, WI-based team of 16 on a mission to help consumers find ways to get around without owning a car. Users download the app, pay a $25 membership fee, and enjoy access to all-electric vehicles. “Base insurance” included.

Zerology joins Waymo (Alphabet’s self-driving ride-hailing service) and Free2Move (Groupe PSA’s car-sharing service) – two other companies using Trov.
