Canadian Insurtech Finaeo Launches AI Chatbot Domo

Toronto-based Finaeo, which recently raised $2.25M in seed, is now offering a chatbot called Domo to allow financial advisors to quickly obtain quotes for critical illness or term life insurance. Judging by a video uploaded to the company’s YouTube channel, quotes offered are underwritten by RBC Insurance and Manulife; to name two.

Three things to note about Finaeo, which launched in beta earlier this year. One. Its platform organizes the advisor’s book of business, acting as both a digital assistant that keeps them prepared and on task, and as a sales coach that nudges them towards best practices. Two. Its platform keeps track of both product and client information, informing advisors of important upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Three. It now also offers real-time quoting. Play.
