Canada’s FSCO Partners with Young Guys Finance to Promote Financial Literacy
November is Financial Literacy Month (#FLM2017) in Canada. Under the leadership of the Financial Literacy Leader, the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) helps coordinate the efforts of, and increase collaboration between, organizations from the private, public and non-profit sectors to strengthen the financial literacy of Canadians and empower them to: (1) manage money, (2) save for the future, and (3) become a financially responsible adult.
One thing to note. The Financial Services Commissions of Ontario (FSCO) has partnered with Young Guys Finance to promote life insurance. This is what it sounds like.
Young Guys Finance is a blog dedicated to financial education. It was launched in 2015 by Justin Lee and Irvin Ho. 349 Facebook likes, 4,931 YouTube subscribers, and 241 Twitter followers suggest there’s a whole lot of teaching, but not a whole lot of learning.
