Apple moves one step closer to healthcare; signing deals with Aetna and Vitality that will allow the insurers to subsidize the cost of the Apple Watch. (1) Starting this fall, Aetna will subsidize “a significant portion” of the Apple Watch cost and will offer monthly payroll deductions to cover the remaining cost. (2) On a similar note, British health insurer Vitality will offer insurance customers an Apple Watch for the price of £69 in cash and £369 in sweat over a period of 24 months.
