CA Seguros is available on Android Automotive

Portuguese insurer Crédito Agrícola Seguros is the first insurance company in Portugal to launch an app on Android Automotive, Google’s infotainment platform that’s built into cars.

Drivers will be able to install the new CA Seguros application in their vehicles, without using a cell phone, and access functions directly from the infotainment system.

Some of these functions include roadside assistance, vehicle location sharing, and navigation to the nearest CA agency.

Android Automotive, which was introduced in 2017, is available in select models of brands such as Volvo, Renault, and General Motors.

The insurer partnered with DXspark to build the app.
