BrokerLink acquires three brokerages across Ontario and Alberta

BrokerLink continues its expansion with the acquisition of three brokerages: Ontario-based Avergate Insurance and Keyes Insurance, and Alberta-based CDM Insurance. The deal for Avergate closed on May 1, while Keyes and CDM were finalized on June 1.

Avergate operates in Markham and North York, offering high-net-worth personal lines and commercial coverage including construction and cyber insurance. Keyes Insurance, founded in 1926 in Gananoque, brings a long-standing presence in personal and commercial insurance. In Alberta, CDM Insurance adds strength to BrokerLink’s Calgary footprint with a focus on home and auto coverage.

The three brokerages will continue to operate under the BrokerLink umbrella, with staff remaining in place to serve their local communities.

BrokerLink, a subsidiary of Intact Financial Corporation, now operates over 200 branches with more than 4,000 employees nationwide.
