Boston Mutual Life appoints EVP of distribution
Boston Mutual Life Insurance appointed Jack Douglas as Executive Vice President of Distribution, effective June 8, 2026.
Douglas will lead the mutual insurer’s sales division and oversee the company’s distribution strategy and growth initiatives. He joins Boston Mutual Life from Assurity, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Worksite Sales.
Douglas brings more than 30 years of insurance and sales leadership experience, including prior roles at Allstate Benefits, Colonial Life, and Unum.
Boston Mutual Life said its distribution team focuses on workplace insurance products including life, accident, disability, and critical illness coverage, serving customers such as union members, public sector employees, first responders, teachers, and small businesses through broker partnerships.
