Bold Penguin acquires SquareRisk

Bold Penguin has acquired SquareRisk , expanding into the E&S and specialty markets and adding digital wholesale operations.

The deal strengthens Bold Penguin’s position in non-admitted markets by integrating SquareRisk’s marketplace, which allows agents to discover, quote, and bind specialty MGA products from over 45 carriers through one interface.

Founded in 2022, SquareRisk focuses on P&C wholesale distribution across industries like construction, transportation, and hospitality. It received an undisclosed investment from BrokerTech Ventures in April 2025.
