BNP Paribas Cardif partners with Qover
BNP Paribas Cardif , the life and P&C insurance subsidiary of BNP Paribas, has teamed up with Qover to develop a B2C solution for BNP Paribas Cardif’s flagship product, the Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI).
Here’s how it works: Users access a BNP Paribas Cardif website where they can subscribe to the insurance product.
Qover is supported by C. Entrepreneurs venture capital fund, created by BNP Paribas Cardif with Cathay Innovation. “By partnering with Qover, we were able to benefit from both their technical knowledge and digital insurance expertise. They developed a solution for us in record time, and also helped us to simplify processes such as signature and medical acceptance. We look forward to exploring other projects together.” – Jean-Michel Hermange, Chief Strategy and Digital Officer at BNP Paribas Cardif in Belgium.
This digital solution can be integrated by any of BNP Paribas Cardif’s partners, using Open API technology. The first partner to launch is the online bank Keytrade Bank which offers MPPI via this solution.
“We are thrilled to be the partner of choice for the digitalisation of one of BNP Paribas Cardif’s flagship products in Belgium . A collaboration such as this one, between a scale-up and a major historical player, is a step in the right direction in a world in full digital transformation. At Qover, we aspire to create real value for our partners. Speed and flexibility are part of our DNA.” – Quentin Colmant, CEO and Co-founder of Qover.
