Blink Parametric appoints new CEO

Blink Parametric  has appointed Brian Barter as its new CEO, effective immediately. The B2B SaaS company, part of CPPGroup Plc, brings in Barter to accelerate its growth strategy and position Blink as the go-to parametric platform for insurers and financial services providers globally.

Barter previously served as Managing Director at BoatyardX, a global software firm he helped grow from launch to acquisition by Ergo in 2022. He has also held leadership roles at Accenture and Bank of Ireland. He replaces Sid Mouncey, who will transition to Chief Commercial Officer to focus on partner relationships and distribution strategy.

Founded in 2016, Blink offers real-time parametric solutions in travel and cyber insurance and currently works with 28 partners across 22 countries. The company reports over £1.6 million in annualized recurring revenue.
