BHSI launches surety in France

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance has launched a surety business in France and appointed Stéphane Fauré as head of surety for the country.

Based in Paris, Fauré will lead the development of surety solutions for brokers and customers, targeting upper middle-market and large corporate clients. The offering will focus on industries including infrastructure, construction, renewable energy and services.

Fauré brings more than 10 years of experience in surety and guarantees, including work in regional strategy, business transformation, product development, and broker and bank relationships.
