Ben Rose steps down as Superscript cofounder and CUO
Superscript co-founder and Chief Underwriting Officer Ben Rose is stepping down after more than a decade with the company. Rose helped launch Superscript and played a key role in securing partnerships, launching new products, and earning milestones like Lloyd’s broker status and B Corp certification.
“It’s been a privilege to shape this business from the beginning — working with an exceptional group of people to flip the insurance model on its head and build something that works for the businesses shaping the future. I’m incredibly proud to have been part of a company powered by curiosity, ambition and a team that backs each other all the way. Thank you to everyone who’s been on this journey with us. Superscript has come a long way, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the team takes it next. I’m especially grateful to Cam for his partnership from day one, and to Chris for his leadership and support through the most recent stage of the journey. I’ll be cheering the team on and wishing them every success for the future.” – Rose.
“I want to thank Ben for his vision, drive and the pivotal role he’s played in making Superscript what it is today. From its earliest days to the thriving business we’re shaping now, Ben has been a constant source of ambition, integrity and clarity of purpose. I’m personally especially grateful for the way he backed me from day one — supporting me as I stepped into the business, and trusting me to take the reins of something he’s helped build from the ground up. That kind of trust and generosity says everything about Ben and the values he’s brought to Superscript every single day. As we look ahead to FY26, Ben’s legacy is woven into the foundation we’re building on. His work has set the bar for what great looks like here: customer-first thinking, bold decision-making and an unwavering belief in what Superscript can become. Thank you, Ben — for everything you’ve done, and for everything you’ve enabled us to do next” – Barclay.
