Belfius Launches Digital Bond Platform Dot-Capital

Brussels-based Belfius has launched Dot-Capital, a digital platform that offers investors and issuers direct and fully secure access to primary market bond issues set up on behalf of companies and public (and semi-public) entities in Belgium.

Platform features include: personalized and real-time alerts when new issues are available, online document storage and consulting, online order entry, transaction tracking, and maturity date management.

The overall objective is to guarantee users a first-class digital user experience, whether they are looking for investment opportunities or want to use the bond markets to fund their company and their projects.

Dot-Capital was developed in collaboration with  The Glue, a Belgian fintech startup established in 2015. Same The Glue that has worked with NN to allow life insurance customers to access their wealth data and investment strategy, follow the performance of their assets and revenue, verify their minimum level of protection, view contract beneficiaries, and track all transactions that have been carried out from 2017 and onwards. “This online marketplace has the potential to revolutionise the way in which banks and their corporate customers, governments and municipalities do business.
