Belfius backs Tinrate
Tinrate , has raised €1.6 million in Seed funding. Founded by Gunther Ghysels and headquartered in Kortrijk, Tinrate positions itself as infrastructure for monetizing expertise, allowing creators and professionals to share a single link to manage bookings, payments, invoicing, and reviews for paid calls. Ghysels has described the platform as an “OnlyFans for knowledge,” framing it as a way to normalize paying for niche, practical expertise beyond traditional professions.
The Seed round drew backing from a group of Belgian founders and operators, including Steve Rousseau of World of Talents, Helena Brutsaert of Get Driven, Arne Vandendriessche of Signpost, and Belfius, alongside several angel investors. Tinrate says the capital will be used to accelerate rollout and product development as it scales its platform across knowledge-based professions.

The company reports more than 1,000 professionals already registered, spanning consultants, creators, and niche experts, as it looks to expand search and discovery features over time.
