Beazley Security and Halcyon launch cyber resilience retainer

Beazley Security and anti-ransomware company Halcyon Tech have launched the Cyber Resilience Retainer, a joint offering that provides support before, during and after a cyberattack.

The offering combines Beazley Security’s incident management, digital forensics and recovery services with Halcyon’s ransomware protection platform and Ransomware Operations Center. Clients receive access to breach coaches, forensic experts, recovery specialists and ransomware professionals through a single engagement.

During a ransomware attack, Halcyon will help identify and contain the activity, prevent additional encryption and lateral movement, and provide monitoring and decryption support. The companies said the arrangement allows investigation, containment and recovery to occur simultaneously.

By putting the relationships and response processes in place ahead of an incident, the retainer is also intended to eliminate procurement delays during a cyber crisis.
