Be My Eyes raises $6.1 million
Be My Eyes , a platform improving accessibility for blind and low-vision users, raised $6.1 million through a Series A+ funding round and non-dilutive working capital from enterprise partners.
The round was led by Enable Ventures, with participation from ECMC Group’s Educational Impact Fund, the National Federation of the Blind, and existing investors such as LiteCap and Samaritan Partners. Gina Kline, Founder and Managing Partner of Enable Ventures, joins Be My Eyes’ board of directors.
Founded in 2015, Be My Eyes connects blind and low-vision users with sighted volunteers through live video and AI for tasks requiring visual assistance.
The platform supports iOS, Android, and desktop and has grown to over 8 million volunteers and 750,000 users in 150 countries.
In 2024, Be My Eyes reported 361% revenue growth and launched partnerships with brands like Microsoft, Google, and Meta.
