Bajaj Allianz picks up a banking network

Bajaj Allianz entered an agreement with Bangalore-based Canara Bank to distribute its personal and commercial lines insurance products through the bank’s network of 5,920 branches across the country. Recall: Axa and Allianz are vying for the attention of banking and financial services company Standard Chartered (SC) in Asia, while Prudential already has a deal place that allows the insurer to distribute its life insurance products through SC.
