AXIS launches Incident Commander
AXIS Capital Holdings announced the launch of a new service for US-based, direct primary cyber insurance customers – AXIS Cyber Incident Commander.
The new service provides policyholders who are hit with a cyber incident with a single point of contact to access immediate guidance from experienced cyber experts. Services available through Incident Commander include legal counsel, digital forensics, incident response, and crisis and reputational management. These are provided by AXIS approved third-party vendors that already work closely with the AXIS Cyber Risk Advisory and Cyber Claims team.
Incident Commander will be led by Nicholas P.R. Steinmann, who has a background in digital forensics and incident response.
“By providing streamlined, rapid access to the services customers need in a cyber incident, AXIS Cyber Incident Commander aims to help get businesses back up and running more quickly, minimize the impact of the incident, and reduce the stress in what can be a complex and unnerving process.” – David Shluger, Head of Cyber Risk Advisory at AXIS.
“Elevating understanding of cyber threats and how to strengthen defenses against them is at the heart of what we do within AXIS Cyber Risk Advisory. The launch of Incident Commander, and the appointment of Nick to our team, enables us to expand the risk advisory solutions we provide to help businesses prepare, protect, and respond to cyber risks amid an evolving cyber risk landscape.” – Lori Bailey, Head of Global Cyber & Technology at AXIS.
