AXA’s Israeli Insurtech Competition announces finalists
Three months ago AXA and venture fund JVP announced Insurtech Israel, a startup competition offering $1 million from JVP and a potential investment of up to $17 million from AXA for the lucky winner. In the #s: over 80 startups applied, 14 startups made it to the semi-finals, and 5 were chosen to compete for the big prize. Here are the finalists.
1. Getmeins – fraud prevention platform.
2. Jones – small business insurance that decreases in premium with every contract sold.
3. Leo – product insurance sold over chatbots.
4. Seegnature – A platform for deal closing with $560K in funding. Also think: the odd one.
5. TrueNorth – a platform to analyze cargo-insurance claims in real-time.
