AXA Partners launches new road transport brand
One year after acquiring European Breakdown and Tyre Services (EBTS), AXA Partners has consolidated its road transport operations under a new brand: AXA Truck & Trailer Uptime Solutions.
The business combines the capabilities of AXA Truck Assistance International and EBTS to offer assistance, insurance, technical services, and digital solutions for the commercial road transport sector, including trucks, trailers, coaches, and tyres.
The new unit is focused on helping transport operators maximize vehicle uptime and reduce operational disruptions through a mix of preventive services and incident management. Its offering includes specialized roadside assistance, insurance products, intervention coordination across Europe, technical support for vehicles and equipment, and digital tools that provide real-time monitoring and operational visibility.
AXA Truck & Trailer Uptime Solutions serves a broad range of industry participants, including manufacturers, equipment suppliers, tyre companies, repair networks, insurers, brokers, rental companies, and fleet operators.
According to AXA Partners, the business handled 550,000 assistance cases and more than 1.1 million inbound calls across Europe in 2025.
The integration of EBTS has expanded AXA Partners’ geographic footprint and service capabilities across Europe’s truck, trailer, and tyre segments, with the company positioning itself as a partner for vehicle uptime, incident management, and business continuity across the road transport ecosystem.
“The transport market is evolving rapidly. Today, our partners are looking for solutions that help them maximize vehicle uptime while also ensuring rapid assistance whenever an incident occurs. With AXA Truck & Trailer Uptime Solutions, we combine industry expertise, a pan-European operational network, digital solutions and specialized assistance to sustainably support the performance of road transport operators.” – Julien Bourdonnec, Head of Truck & Trailer Uptime Solutions at AXA Partners.
