Aviva to rebrand Probitas 1492 as ‘Aviva Syndicates’
Aviva will rebrand Lloyd’s syndicate Probitas 1492 as “Aviva Syndicates” at the end of September, completing the integration of its Lloyd’s platform into Aviva’s Global Corporate & Specialty business.
Aviva acquired Probitas in 2024 as part of a strategy to build a dual-stamp specialty business under a single brand. Since the acquisition, the insurer has launched eight new lines of business through its Lloyd’s platform, and the combined teams have been operating as one business since the start of 2026.
The new branding will be reflected across communications, systems, and market interactions beginning in September.
