Aviva Teams Up With Payroll Software Provider BrightPay

Aviva has teamed up with payroll software provider BrightPay to help smaller businesses who have their workplace pension with Aviva manage their payroll and auto-enrollment responsibilities.

Now, Aviva’s online platform for auto-enrollment allows employers to set up their workplace pension scheme in under 10 minutes and manage their employee’s pension contributions with the minimum amount of effort. Till now, business owners had to manually calculate pension contributions, work out who needs to be assessed and produce the auto-enrollment communications.

“This announcement should also make the market more attractive for financial advisers who can play a key role in the development of auto-enrollment. They will be able to advise on new and existing schemes knowing that their clients will have the necessary software in place to manage the day to day running of their workplace pension scheme” – Managing Director, Business Solutions at Aviva, Andy Beswick.

We were really keen to work with Aviva as they have embraced new technology . Our customers want an integrated transition between the payroll and pension provider. As Aviva offers an API integration with BrightPay, it was a natural choice for us to work with Aviva and be one of the first payroll providers to offer this to employers. We also have a shared interest in helping employers simplify their payroll and auto-enrollment processes especially those who use HMRC’s Basic PAYE tools. Using BrightPay and Aviva, employers can take advantage of an automated and fully integrated system which makes submitting a pension file each pay cycle seamless” – Managing Director at BrightPay, Paul Byrne.
