Autodesk partners with Shepherd
Autodesk , a 3D design software provider for use in the architecture, engineering, construction, and media industries is now working with commercial insurance startup Shepherd .
Autodesk Build is a ‘comprehensive field and project management solution’ for construction teams. With Autodesk Build, general contractors and specialty trade partners are able to streamline workflows across project management, including QA/QC tracking, safety incident management, and project cost.
As part of the partnership, contractors who are actively using Autodesk Build will be able to qualify for underwriting credits and improved coverage from Casualty Pro during their next renewal cycle.
“Current industry dynamics ranging from labor shortages to rising material costs are making risk mitigation absolutely critical for construction companies regardless of project size. Using Autodesk Construction Cloud across the preconstruction and construction phase can help contractors accelerate efforts to derisk a project and preserve profit margins, and empowers teams to successfully deliver on quality, safety, cost and schedule. At the same time, we are very excited to align with Shepherd and reward our customers who are proactively taking steps to reduce risk while driving their businesses forward.” – Sidharth Haksar, Autodesk’s Head of Construction Strategy & Industry Partnerships.
